THANH NIEN'S CHARMING VIETNAM GALA IN UK

Three talented Vietnamese girls living in the UK and Switzerland - pianist Bich Tra, Miss Vietnam World 2007 Ngo Phuong Lan and Miss Vietnam UK Teressa Sam - will attend the event.

The program will take place on March 4 and 5 at Central Hall Westminster in London, with seats for 2,000 people and at the 5,000 seat Hangar II in Berlin on March 8.

Since its debut in 1994, “Charming Vietnam” gala has raised more than VND9.8 billion (US$613,000) for the Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarship Fund.

The fund has granted over 6,500 scholarships to economically disadvantaged students.

The charity extravaganza was held abroad for the first time in Australia in 2005 with excellent reviews and in Singapore last year.
